The Greater Bay Shore Chamber of Commerce hosted its 21st Annual Distinguished Citizens Award Dinner Thursday night at The Bayview House, where two of Northwell Health’s top executives were recognized for their impact on the community.
Michael Dowling, President & CEO of Northwell Health, and Mark Solazzo, President of Strategic Initiatives and COO (both pictured above), were honored for their leadership in transforming South Shore University Hospital into a thriving regional hub and helping fuel downtown Bay Shore’s resurgence.
“It was an incredible evening to honor two distinguished leaders who have given so much to our community,” said Edward Fraser, Chamber president. “I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the amazing sounds of Gregory Harrington, whose music elevated the evening in such a powerful way. We are so grateful to our sponsors and our Board of Directors for making this milestone event possible.”
Guests from across business, healthcare, and government gathered for the celebration, which also featured heartfelt thanks to the Chamber’s generous sponsors and dedicated Board of Directors.
Their support, Fraser noted, made the night a resounding success.
