Crumbl Cookies is getting ready to sweeten Stony Brook.
The fast-growing national cookie chain is opening a new shop at 2184A Nesconset Highway in Brooktown Plaza — the same center as the AMC Loews movie theater — marking one of the brand’s first Suffolk County outposts.
While an official opening date has not yet been set, Crumbl has begun hiring for the location. According to the company website, the store is seeking bakers, drivers and management positions as it assembles its opening team.
Greater Long Island has reached out to Crumbl for an update on the opening. Check back for details.

The Stony Brook shop continues Crumbl’s rapid expansion across Long Island. The company opened its fifth location on the Island in spring 2024 with the debut of an Oceanside shop, following earlier launches in Levittown, Port Washington, Massapequa and Merrick.
Crumbl is also planning another Suffolk County location at The Shops at SunVet in Holbrook. A timeline for that store has not yet been announced.
Founded in 2017, Crumbl has grown into a national phenomenon, powered largely by TikTok and Instagram, where the brand has amassed more than 15 million followers. Each Sunday, Crumbl unveils a rotating lineup of six “flavor drop” cookies, drawing millions of views — and often lines out the door — for its limited-time creations.
