Suffolk Police have issued a Silver Alert for a 70-year-old Brentwood man reported missing Valentine’s Day night.
Milton Batson, who suffers from dementia, walked away from his home at 1 Springfield Road about 6 p.m. on Saturday and has not been seen since.
Police said he is 5 feet, 9 inches tall; weighs about 140 pounds; and has brown eyes. When he went missing, he was wearing a gold or orange beanie, a blue and white jacket, and dark jeans.

Authorities are urging anyone with information on Batson’s whereabouts to call 911 or contact the Suffolk County Police Third Squad at 631.854.8352.
Police stressed that individuals with dementia may be disoriented and in need of assistance, and anyone who spots Batson should approach cautiously and seek help.
