Spring is getting a proper welcome in Smithtown.
The Hello Spring Fest is set to take over the grounds of Episcopal Church of St. Thomas of Canterbury on Saturday, May 2, bringing a full day of color, music and community to Brooksite Drive.
Running from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the free event blends artisan vendors with a lineup of food and activities designed to lean fully into the season. Expect everything from fresh fruit smoothies and lavender drinks to lobster rolls, pizza and more, alongside handcrafted goods from local makers.
The day’s centerpiece events include a children’s spring costume parade at 1 p.m. and a community drum circle from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., led by Spirit Sky Drum. Guests are encouraged to bring their own instruments—or jump in using ones provided on-site.
There will also be flower crown making, live music, a photo-ready flower wall and even puppy adoptions, rounding out a festival built around what organizers describe as “all the spring vibes.”
