Açai bowl chain Baya Bar opens May 31 in Port Jeff Station, offers free bowls

|

Smoothies, superfruits and good vibes are landing in Port Jefferson Station on May 31 as Baya Bar officially swings the doors open at its first Suffolk County location.

On that Saturday, Baya Bar will open at 11 a.m., offering each of its first 100 customers a free large bowl. The new shop is located at 208 Main St. (Route 112), north of Route 347.

Baya Bar was founded in New York City in 2016 by Bill Loesch and has since grown to more than 50 stores open or under development across the country. The company hopes to hit 70 locations by the end of 2025.

Long Island is now home to three Baya Bar locations: the new Port Jefferson Station shop joins existing locations in Oceanside and Garden City. New York City has more than a dozen locations, mostly in Manhattan.

The Port Jefferson Station store promises all the brand staples — açai bowls, smoothies, cold-pressed juices, and the company’s latest “Refreshers” line featuring flavors like Cherry Limeade and Tropical Punch.

Now hiring

“Whether you’re stopping by for your favorite bowl or just soaking in the energy, Baya Bar is going to be your go-to happy place,” one of the location’s recent Instagram posts reads.

The business said it is currently hiring and accepting applications via email, Bayabarpjs@gmail.com, and Indeed.
