From Bay Shore Schools:
Three Bay Shore High School students have been selected to receive recognition for their writing. Derek Brown and Camryn Garrett received Certificates of Nomination and Yaa Owusu received a Certificate of Recognition in the 2017 NCTE Achievement Awards in Writing Competition.
Nationwide, 517 students were nominated for the awards.
Of those, 106 received Certificates of Recognition and 411 received Certificates of Nomination.
