AJ’s in Bay Shore reopens Friday with new menu, limited hours

After a brief closure in Bay Shore, AJ’s Gourmet Grilled Cheese has announced shorter hours and a scaled down menu — at least for the time being.

Owner Anthony Leis told GreaterBayShore earlier this month that he and his staff needed some days to regroup and reimagine the business in the pandemic era, and the state restrictions that come with it.

He got in touch with us Monday with this update:

“We are opening back up with a limited menu and limited hours this coming Friday night, Jan. 29, at 5 p.m.,” he wrote.

“For the near future our new menu will feature fan favorites, and our new hours will be Friday, 5 to 9 p.m., and Saturday, 2 to 9 p.m.”
