Around 50,000 visited this year’s Annual Fair at Argyle Park: Officials

|

It’s official, this year’s Annual Fair at Argyle Park was the biggest to date.

Village of Babylon officials estimate between 45,000 to 50,000 people visited the craft fair.

The festival, which is in its 47th year, typically draws around 40,000, says Babylon Beautification Society, the event’s organizer.

“The weather was amazing,” said Frank Petruzzo, president of the beatification society, on the record-breaking numbers. “We had just over 300 vendors and they were all of top quality.”

And, the merchants want back already, says Petruzzo.

“I already have requests from new vendors for next year,” he said.
