Gateway Plaza has a new tenant.
Ashley Furniture HomeStore’s new Patchogue location officially opened its doors on March 13, an employee confirmed to GreaterPatchogue.
The home furnishing company partially filled an old Bob’s Store location in the shopping center. According to a report by Newsday, the 51,537 square-foot space at 499 Sunrise Highway is being split between Ashley’s and Burlington (which has not opened yet).
This is the fifth Ashley Furniture HomeStore on Long Island. The other locations are in Lake Grove, Farmingdale, Riverhead, Carle Place and Valley Stream. There’s also an Ashley HomeStore Outlet in Farmingdale as well.
The furniture retailer joins a plaza filled with other national chains, including Best Buy, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Marshalls and HomeGoods.
Check back in with GreaterPatchogue for updates on Burlington’s opening in the Gateway Plaza.
