The details for this year’s Babylon Block Party series in downtown Babylon are set.
The event organizers, the Babylon Village Chamber of Commerce, confirmed to GreaterBabylon that the street festival will happen this summer and with an extra date.
The summer street festival has grown since its inception in 2018. Typically the summer street festival is planned with three dates. Last year the chamber expanded it to four dates; this year it’s getting five.
Here they are: July 14, July 28, Aug. 11, Aug. 25 and Sept. 15, all Thursdays from 5-9 p.m. There are rain dates set for each date for the following Thursday.
The family-fun series will shut down Deer Park Ave. to allow live music and outdoor dining in the streets. There will also be vendors, food trucks, a video game truck, bouncy houses and more.
