The official Facebook page for the Babylon School District posted it will be offering free meals for children under the age of 18 starting Wednesday, March 18.
Available weekdays from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., walk-up and pick-up meals will be available at the kitchen window of Babylon Junior-Senior High School on Grove Place, directly across from St. Joseph’s Church.
Each child will receive one breakfast and lunch meal to eat at home. Meals cannot be eaten on-premise.
No IDs or paperwork are required and the program will go on until school reopens.
“While schools are closed, we are still here to help make sure our students have the nutritional support needed,” the post reads.
