A Babylon Grade School sixth grader and her art teacher had their artwork chosen to appear in the SCALA Invitational Show.
The student Hailey Coll’s brush pen drawing was displayed alongside art teacher Laura Doherty’s first edition digital photograph “And…Carolyn” during the show held at the Islip Arts Council gallery.
The show featured teacher-student work that was related in some way. Hailey and Doherty chose close-up female portraits as their theme.
