Babylon Town is hosting its second annual Pasta and Sauce Drive benefiting the town’s food pantry.
For the drive, all boxed pasta and canned sauces will be accepted. The event began which began on Sept. 12 and runs until Oct. 3.

Last year, Babylon Town Councilman Anthony Manetta founded the drive with the help of co-sponsors Babylon town clerk Gerry Compitello and the Sons of Italy Constantino Brumidi Lodge in Deer Park.
“Sunday pasta dinners are a longstanding tradition for many families in our community, including my own,” Manetta told GreaterBabylon. “Unfortunately, many families right here in the Town of Babylon struggle to put food on the table each week. Town Clerk Gerry Compitello and I hope to provide food to those who need it this fall and winter.”
