The Babylon Village Board approved Swell Taco’s expansion plans during Tuesday night’s board meeting.
The popular — and often packed — Tex-Mex restaurant will be adding 11 seats to its Babylon location through an opportunity with the eatery’s new landlord.
The plans include removing the current office on the main level to add more space to the dining area.
Construction will begin later this month, with the restaurant closing down for a “few days,” according to Swell Taco co-owner Brooke Jankow.
It’s a move that ownership is really excited for.
“It is going to be a great improvement,” said Jankow.
