As a public health and safety measure, the Village of Babylon has closed down its popular Argyle Park amid the virus outbreak.
Babylon Village Mayor Ralph Scordino signed an executive order that closed the park Friday, April 3, at 3 p.m. until further notice.
“No visitors at all under any circumstances will be permitted at Argyle Lake,” the mayor wrote on Facebook. “Barricades and signs will be posted.”
Code enforcement will be patrolling the area to make sure no one enters the grounds.
