Babylon Village meters can now be paid through a new app or online

|

There’s now an easier way to fill up the parking meters in Babylon Village.

The village has partnered with Passport Parking to let people add time to their meters via a mobile device or desktop.

In order to use the service, which has a $.10 convenience fee, you can either download the ParkingPassport App or visit the website.

After that, make an account and then enter the village’s zone number: 9340.

[Note: The service isn’t available for single-space meters on the streets. Only the meters in the municipal parking lots can be paid for in the new fashion.]

And if you add money to your online account into your “mobile wallet,” Babylon Village will cover the convenience charge, according to the Village’s Facebook page.

To kick things off, there’s s a parking app promotion running all of May.

“If you load $50, you will receive an additional $10 free on you account…if you load $100, you will receive an additional $25 on your account,” reads a statement from village officials.
