Huge prizes, great food and drinks are always in the game plan at the Babylon Village Chamber of Commerce’s annual Chinese Auction.
This year’s event, which is set for Thursday, March 15, will be at the American Legion at 22 Grove Place.
The festivities begin at 6:30 p.m., with a $10 cover charge at the door. The entry fee includes 25 raffle tickets, coffee, tea, and dessert.
There will also be a cash bar and additional food available for purchase.
Patrons can buy addition raffle sheets for an extra $5 worth of raffles for giveaways.
“Some of the donations are really, really great and big things that people will definitely want,” said the chamber’s secretary, Kelly Peckholdt.
In years prior, some of the larger donations have ranged from new bicycles to a year membership at the Long Island Yacht Club.
The proceeds raised from the event will go toward helping fund upcoming events in the village, such as the Night of Shopping, explained Peckholdt.
