Babylon’s Annual Old Fashioned Village Christmas Night of Shopping has a new date.
The event, sponsored by the Babylon Village Chamber of Commerce, has been moved to Friday, Dec. 8, due to a rainy forecast tonight.

From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Deer Park Avenue will be closed from Rail Road Avenue to Main Street for the street festival.
Local boutiques and food vendors will be filling the streets to offer holiday specials for the Night of Shopping. There will be live entertainment on the sidewalks, from local carolers to musical performances by Disney princesses.
Also during that time, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be riding through town on a horse-drawn carriage.
For those who want to watch their favorite holiday classics, there will be big-screen TVs set up in the downtown.
