The sixth annual Babylon Village Shopping Crawl happens this weekend in the downtown.
The event, sponsored by the Babylon Village Chamber of Commerce, occurs on Sunday, Oct. 4, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Like in years prior, there still will be free registration at Ooh La La Boutique or Pandemonium Boutique, where each participant will receive raffle tickets and a map of participating businesses offering discounts. The first 200 registrants will also receive a free tote bag.
Typically, at the end of the shopping spree, there’s a wrap-up party at Monsoon, however, that has been canceled due to COVID-19.
Instead, the chamber will be placing raffle baskets on the sidewalk in front of Fitness Incentive from 2-4 p.m.
“Be sure to save receipts as in years past — the more you shop, the more chances you earn to win raffles,” said Kelly Peckholdt, head of the chamber. “We will have additional raffle tickets for sale, too.”
Raffle winners don’t have to be present for the pulling of the names.
