Babylon Village’s Spring Arts and Music Fest seeks merchants

|

One of the Babylon Village’s busiest street fairs is currently in the works for June.

The annual Spring Arts and Music Fest, run by the Babylon Village Chamber of Commerce, is looking for artisans and craftspeople interested in participating in this year’s event.

And if you’re from out of town, you’re still in luck.

“It’s the only event that we allow outside merchants,” said the chamber president, Jacqueline DiDonato.

Those merchants offer everything from art, to music, to food.

“[Vendors] do very well,” said DiDonato. “We had people tell us this is one of the best events they do all year”

The festival, which happens on Deer Park Avenue in the village on Saturday, June 2, will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

To sign up, email babylonvillagechamber1@gmail.com.

In addition to vendors, the chamber is also seeking participants for this year’s sidewalk chalk competition. People can sign up the day of, with the best artwork earning a prize.
