Babylon Village is all geared up for its annual A Safe and Fun Halloween Trick or Treat happening this Saturday, Oct. 27.

The Babylon Village Chamber of Commerce, which runs the event, will start the day with a Halloween costume parade at 11 a.m.

After that, businesses on Main Street and Deer Park Avenue will be handing out candy to dressed-up kiddies.

“This event has been going on for several years and is very popular with local families,” said Kelly Peckholdt of the chamber. “It’s a great kid-friendly day in the village and allows for families to bring their children trick-or-treating in a safe, fun way.”

The trick or treating at the local businesses will follow the walk and last until 4 p.m.
