Baked with Grace debuts its cookie pies in Babylon Village

|

There’s a new bakeshop in town.

Baked with Grace officially opened its doors this past Saturday at 65 Deer Park Ave. in Babylon Village.

21-year-old Grace Reilly, a Farmingdale State College architecture student, took a quarantine activity and turned it into a brick-and-mortar business.

Reilly specializes in cookie pies, which have become a local sensation. For the uninitiated, a cookie pie is baked in pie tins and filled with all different flavors. Baking them in tins allows the cookie to come out thick and gooey.

Last weekend she welcomed Babylon Village residents and beyond at her grand opening, where customers indulged in warm cookie pies topped with ice cream.

She also got her name out there while tabling at the first Babylon Block Party event of the year.
