Bango Bowls opens New Hyde Park location, the company’s seventh

|

Nearly five months after expanding to Westbury, Bango Bowls has added a second location in the Nassau area and seventh overall.

What the company is calling its New Hyde Park store opened last week at 271-16 Union Turnpike, just across the border in Queens. And a grand opening party with the New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce is in the works.

Bango Bowls, which started in Massapequa Park in 2017, now operates seven locations in Nassau, Suffolk, Queens and Westchester counties. All full-service spots, the stores serves salads, warm grain bowls, poke bowls, acai bowls, flaninis and avocado toast. Click here for the full menu.

“As we open our seventh Bango Bowls location, I am filled with excitement and pride for the entire team involved in bringing this vision to life,” Bango Bowls CEO Ryan Thorman said in a statement.

“Our commitment to providing delicious, healthy food options is matched only by our enthusiasm to immerse ourselves in the community and support our neighbors at Long Island Jewish Medical Center,” he added.

The New Hyde Park Bango Bowls is located at the corner of Lakeville Drive and Union Turnpike, next to LIJ Medical Center.

Bango Bowls is open seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The company, Thorman said, will also soon start offering franchise opportunities, with the ultimate goal of opening hundreds of locations across the Northeast. This is a corporate location.

The other Long Island Bango Bowls are in Bay Shore, East Setauket and Westbury, which opened in December. The Westchester spots are located in Larchmont and Scarsdale.

“We can’t wait to share the Bango Bowls experience with our new customers and continue to serve our existing ones, said Thorman. “Here’s to a bright future ahead!”
