The Bay Shore Moms and Dads Facebook group, local non-profit organizations, and businesses are reuniting to bring back the Halloween Trunk-or-Treat event this year.
On Oct. 23, over 20 vehicles will be set up at Bay Shore Middle School at 393 Brook Ave. from 3:30 p.m to 6 p.m. to hand out candy and non-candy, provide snacks for sale. Entry is free.
Kids and their families are encouraged to arrive in costume and get in the Halloween spirit.
The trunk-or-treat usually happens at the big Haunted Halloween Family Festival in Bay Shore, however, the festival won’t be happening this fall.
In case of a bad weather forecast, there is a rain date for the trunk-or-treat set for Oct. 30.
