Bay Shore native opens brunch café in downtown Sayville

|

The founder of the popular Eat Me, Drink Me food truck is readying to open her next venture on Long Island.

Bay Shore’s Michelle Panciarello launched her new concept, Brunch by Eat Me, Drink Me, in Sayville on Feb. 3.

Located at 32 Foster Avenue, the cafe has been completely transformed since Panciarello took it over nearly four years ago. Keep scrolling for photos.

Brunch will serve up made-from-scratch items, such as egg sandwiches served on house-baked biscuits and croissants, as well as European-style and trending pastries. There will be rotating specials.

“Baked goods are prepared fresh daily in-house, though some gluten-free options will be provided by suppliers to ensure zero cross-contamination,” a spokesperson for Brunch told GLI.

There will be an emphasis on catering to those with special requests.

“Having catered for private parties for the last ten years, we are well-versed in allergies and cross-contamination,” Panciarello wrote on Brunch’s website. “We are absolutely able to shift much of our menu for vegan and vegetarian guests.”

While there will be limited seating of up to 12 seats, mostly, this will be for to-go through counter service. “The marina is just down the road, so we hope to be a part of the locals’ grab-and-walk experience here,” the spokesperson told GLI.
