For the second-straight season, Bay Shore girls soccer player Evangeline Perdomo has been selected to the All-State team.
The junior scored 16 goals and had eight assists, while helping Bay Shore (10-6) secure a spot in the Suffolk County playoffs. As a sophomore in 2022, she found the net 15 times and had five assists for the Marauders.
Prior to the season she was on Newsday’s Top 100 Girls Soccer Players to Watch list. She has also earned All-County honors the last two years.
This summer, Perdomo competed with her travel team at the 2023 USYS National Championships. To reach the national tournament, she helped Middle Country SBMC capture the Girls Under-18 East Regional title in late June.
Middle Country recorded a 4-0-1 to earn the regional crown, outscoring their opponents, 22-4.
