|

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Bethpage Air Show at Jones Beach.

The U.S. Navy Blue Angels, who performed at the inaugural show in 2004, are returning as the main attraction on Saturday, May 25, and Sunday, May 26, 2024. The show runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. both dates.

“We are thrilled to welcome the United States Navy Blue Angels back to Long Island for our 20th Anniversary show,” said George Gorman of the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historical Preservation.

Over the past two decades, the event has evolved into one of the nation’s premier air shows, captivating audiences with exhilarating aerial displays.

The lineup for the 20th anniversary includes:

  • U.S. Navy Blue Angels
  • United States Army Golden Knights
  • A-10C Thunderbolt II Demo Team
  • US Navy F-35C Demo Team
  • Mike Goulian
  • David Windmiller
  • Farmingdale State College Aviation
  • Skytypers
  • Warbird Thunder Airshows
  • American Airpower Museum Warbirds

Bethpage Federal Credit Union sponsors the annual air show, and this will mark the Blue Angels’ 10th appearance as headliners. Last year, over 350,000 people attended the Bethpage Air Show at Jones Beach over three days. The 2020 show was canceled due to the pandemic.

Looking ahead, the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds are set to headline the 2025 show.
