The New York State Liquor Authority has pulled the plug on Bay Shore’s Nashville Thursdays.
The plans for the event included sidewalk dining, live music, and pop-up shops.
Nashville Thursdays were supposed to begin this Thursday and run into the fall.
“In these trying times, we were hoping to provide some entertainment to our socially distanced guests and also wanted to help out local musicians back to work,” said Mike McElwee of the Bay Shore Restaurant Committee, which organized this summer series.
The goal is to bring this promotion back for a future date, McElwee told GreaterBayShore.
