|

One-one-nine-three-two.

If you’re fortunate to live in this ZIP code, then you’re in some pretty exclusive company. Bridgehampton, along with Water Mill’s one-one-nine-seven-six, landed in the top 10 of Realtor.com’s latest list of America’s most expensive ZIP codes.

The report found that the two Hamptons communities carry a median listing price topping $6.8 million, placing them among the country’s priciest places to buy a home. At the very high end, the top 1% of listings reached a median of $59 million in Bridgehampton and $61 million in Water Mill.

With a median listing price of $8.5 million, Bridgehampton’s 11932 is the third most-expensive ZIP code in the land. Water Mill’s 11976 came in at No. 8 with a $6.85 median listing price.

Even so, online interest in the two ZIP codes has dipped. Realtor.com data shows per-listing views have fallen 28% in Bridgehampton and nearly 49% in Water Mill, a sign that some luxury shoppers may be pulling back.

Room to roam: Bridgehampton’s median listing spans 4,748 square feet, while Water Mill offers even more room at about 5,191 square feet.

Nationally, the Hamptons heavyweights are joined by other exclusive enclaves. Fisher Island in Miami Beach topped the list with a whopping $11.9 million median listing price. California claimed half of the top 10, with Newport Coast (92657) and its $9.1 median listing price holding the No. 2 spot.
