Brightwaters Inn eyes late summer opening

|

We’re weeks away from the Brightwaters Inn from reopening under new ownership.

GreaterBayShore caught up with the new village pub owners, Bay Shore brothers Anthony and Andrew Tartaglia, who said the goal is to swing the doors open at 200 Orinoco Drive “by the end of summer.”

Originally, the Tartaglias were aiming to launch in March, however, like many other places, the virus put a pause on business.

“The Main Street Bay Shore locations are our main focus right now and we want to keep things running smoothly here before we branch out,” said Anthony on running their first ventures Verde Kitchen & Cocktails and Coastal Kitchen & Daiquiri Bar.

But, fear not, The BWI will definitely be open just in time for football season, Anthony said.

As previously reported, the new owners are keeping the pool table. They’re keeping the dartboard, too. They’ve also added multiple big-screen TVs.

They are also in the process of adding a new outdoor area.

As for the food, Tartaglia says the Inn will be serving up standard pub food, with an emphasis on burgers and wings.

Below are some inside looks of the progress.
