A Bronx man has finally claimed his $1million second prize award in a Mega Millions drawing from the spring of 2024.
Jason Williams correctly matched the first five numbers — 01, 05, 07, 22 and 24 — in the June 11, 2024, multi-state drawing. The Mega Ball that evening was 08.
Williams opted to take home the one-time lump sum payment, which after required withholdings amounted to $606,313.
He bought the lucky winning ticket at Three Star Candy Store, located at 1673 Metropolitan Ave. in the Bronx.
