The rumors are true.

Brownstones Coffee is adding a new location to its already growing roster, this time in Sayville.

The 3,000-square-foot restaurant, set to open in the old Sayville Diner space, will mark the chain’s fifth location on the island.

A sign went up last week indicating Brownstones is on the way, and the company confirmed to Greater Long Island over a social media message they will be announcing an opening date soon.

Known for their signature breakfast and brunch dishes, Brownstones Coffee has been a staple in the Long Island community for over two decades. The first one opened in Amityville in 2002 and there are now locations in East Northport, West Islip, and Centereach. There’s also one in Hanover, N.J.
