Budweiser Clydesdales on Long Island for Ducks game

The Long Island Ducks have a pretty good shot tonight of taking down the Flying Boxcars of Hagerstown, Maryland.

But they were hardly a match for their other out-of-town visitors yesterday at Fairfield Properties Ballpark in Central Islip: the Budweiser Clydesdales out of St. Louis.

The crowd-pleasing show horses were in town to visit with fans before yesterday’s 6:35 p.m. baseball game. They were stationed on Courthouse Drive outside the stadium — and have more star power than the local minor league baseball team.
