Buffalo Wild Wings GO opens in Patchogue just before Super Bowl LIX

|

Call it perfect timing. Or perhaps it’s savvy marketing.

Either way, just days before America’s biggest chicken wing-eating day of the year, Patchogue is scoring its own Buffalo Wild Wings GO.

The new restaurant celebrates its grand opening at 125 E. Main St. this Friday — two days ahead of Super Bowl LIX. This marks the chain’s second GO concept store on Long Island; the first opened last year in Shirley.

Franchisees Sanjay and Neerja Jain of MP Patchogue LLC will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1 p.m. The 1,200-square-foot restaurant offers dine-in seating and takeout options, featuring traditional and boneless wings, chicken sandwiches, burgers, and all 26 signature sauces.

Ownership said 10 employees will staff the location, which will operate daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

“The Long Island community has welcomed us with open arms,” Jain said. “Our team looks forward to serving the brand’s iconic wings and supporting the Patchogue community for years to come.”

Buffalo bonus

If Sunday’s Super Bowl in New Orleans goes into overtime, customers everywhere can claim six free wings on Feb. 24 between 2-5 p.m. The offer is valid for dine-in and in-person takeout orders only.

The GO concept, launched in 2020, is designed to streamline the ordering process for both dine-in and takeout customers.

An estimated 1.47 billion chicken wings will be eaten for the Super Bowl this Sunday, according to data from the National Chicken Council. The game features two-time defending champs, Kansas City, from the AFC and Philadelphia from the NFC.
