Burgerology continues to gain ground on the island as it prepares to set up its seventh spot, this time in Farmingdale.
Maria Galatoulas, owner and operator, confirmed to greaterfarmingdale.com that the rapidly expanding, family-run restaurant chain will open in Farmingdale this fall.
It’s taking over a former tanning salon space at 247-249 Main St. and Galatoulas said the hope is to open at the end of October to mid-November.
“We’ve had our hearts set on Farmingdale since we started Burgerology,” Galatoulas said. “Farmingdale was a location on our radar because we love the families we cater to, and we also offer a fun and enjoyable vibe for nightlife.”
The Galatoulas family of Bellmore’s other Burgerology locations are in Astoria, Rockville Centre, Syosset (an express location), Huntington, Patchogue, Stony Brook and Midtown Manhattan, which opened on July 6.
Customers who visit the Farmingdale Burgerology can expect to find the chain’s specialty, made-to-order burgers, wings, craft beer, IPAs, cocktails, as well as extravagant, Instagram-friendly milkshakes.
The Farmingdale location, Galatoulas says, will be Burgerology’s first to feature a projector screen, which will be used to air live events.
“Farmingdale will be the same fun place all our customers are used to visiting,” she said. “We are super excited to be a part of the community.”
