Hook & Reel is serving up an authentic, Cajun-inspired cuisine experience on the South Shore.
The seafood franchise is now open at the Westfield South Shore Mall in Bay Shore, between the Cheesecake Factory and the now-closed Lord and Taylor.
This is the 18th Hook & Reel location in New York and one of the 50 operating across the United States.
The restaurant officially opened this past weekend, on May 22.
“It feels amazing to be a part of the community and finally be open,” said Alex Swartz, Northeast regional manager. “It’s been a long process, especially with everything going on the last year and a half, but we pushed through and we are very excited to have our doors open.”
Hook & Reel offers a fully customizable menu with different types of seafood to mix and match.
“We also have bibs and gloves, so we encourage you to get messy, and we also have a family atmosphere,” Swartz said. “That’s something that is a big part of our culture, we want to make you feel like you’re family every time you walk through that front door.”
Hook & Reel Bay Shore is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
