A massive LED wall, glittering chandeliers and glowing display cases — welcome to Farmingville’s most striking new retail space.
Canna Blooms, a new state-licensed cannabis dispensary in Farmingville, aims for an instant “wow” the moment customers step inside. And it delivers.
A 40-foot-wide LED screen — blazing with vivid psychedelic imagery, a Christmas scene, football game, Netflix movie, you name it — anchors one wall, while cascading crystal chandeliers overhead provide striking lighting.
Below, illuminated glass display cases feature glowing edges, creating the feel of a high-end gallery rather than some run-of-the-mill retail shop.
The dispensary has operated in a soft opening phase since Wednesday, and will celebrate its official grand opening this weekend, Dec. 6 and 7, with music, food and giveaways. Adding to the buzz, the business has wrapped a Tesla Cybertruck in Canna Blooms branding as an eye-catching mobile marketing tool.
Owner Monica Oberoi said the goal from day one was to create a space and attitude that felt completely different.
“We wanted people to walk in and just say, ‘Wow,'” Oberoi said, gesturing toward the establishment’s sleek design. “We have the space, the design and a great team — everything has to feel welcoming and special.”
Inviting and illuminating decor

The LED wall, installed panel by panel — 300 individual pieces in all — was put together by family friend Wilson Li. Its kaleidoscopic visuals shift throughout the day, on Monday bathing the showroom in ever-changing hues of neon pink, electric blue and vivid orange.
“When people come in, they’re automatically drawn to it,” Li said. “First the technology, then just how cool it looks. It makes the whole place feel more refined.”
Li added that the screen’s flexible backdrop lets the shop edit its look at any time.
The showroom floor features illuminated display cases at its center, surrounded by sleek wall displays. Polished surfaces, modern fixtures and carefully curated product presentations complete the upscale atmosphere.
Wide variety of cannabis products

Canna Blooms occupies a large section of the former Xpressions adult clothing and novelty store at 2400 North Ocean Ave., which closed earlier this year. Oberoi plans to convert the remaining portion into a sophisticated adult boutique in the near future.
The dispensary offers state-approved flowers, edibles, beverages vapes and accessories, and is open seven days a week with extended weekend hours.
Oberoi, who operates convenience stores with her husband, Gaurav, in Hicksville and in Woodside and Flushing, Queens, said the team atmosphere is just as important as the decor.
“I’m very, very happy with the team,” she said. “They help customers with whatever they need. It all matters.”
She added that more Long Islanders are choosing licensed dispensaries for clean, reliable products.
“People want safe, consistent options — and everything we sell is fully state-approved,” she said.

The cherry on top may be that Oberoi said Farmingville is just the beginning.
“There’s so much potential in this industry when it’s done responsibly,” she said, noting that they’re already working on converting a space in Queens to a dispensary. “We’re excited to be here, and we plan to open more dispensaries in the future.”
