|

The Babylon Beautification Society is offering the opporunity to be part of Babylon Village’s history.

The nonprofit is selling commemorative bricks that will surround the Bayman Statue in Bayman Park.

The statue, which was erected in 2018, is designed to remind the public of an era when the Great South Bay was overflowing with clam beds.

To be part of the park, there are three options to choose from:

4″ x 8″ brick: $250.00
8″ x 8″ brick: $500.00
12″ x 12″ brick: $1,000.00

Frank Petruzzo, the head of the beautification society, said the new bricks will be installed sometime this fall.
