Construction underway on East Farmingdale Hilton Hampton Inn and Suites

|

East Farmingdale’s Republic Airport is getting a four-story new neighbor.

Construction is underway on a 65,000 square-foot Hilton Hampton Inn & Suites at 1030 Broadhollow Road in East Farmingdale.

Farmingdale Hospitality Partners, an LLC forged between Oxford Hospitality Advisors and the Levine Organization, is developing to $20 million project.

The 101-room East Farmingdale Hilton Hampton Inn and Suites will boast a indoor pool, a fitness center, a conference room, a business center, a sundry shop, a guest self-laundry and complimentary breakfast, according to documents the developer filed with the Babylon Industrial Development Agency for a 20-year PILOT benefit.

The hotel falls on a two 2.2-acre portion of a 13-acre parcel of land that was once home to driving ranges and mini golf as the Skydrive Golf Center. Much of the remaining parcel has been developed and occupied by various retail shops and restaurants.

The forthcoming development will neighbor the Marriott’s Courtyard TownPlace Suites. Both will be within a half-mile of the Republic Airport.

The application for financial assistance, filed June 2021, indicates construction is expected to wrap up by the end of 2022. Long Island Business News reported last week the hotel is expected to open June 2023.
