Cops seek other victims after man exposed himself to teen in Russell Gardens park

|
Hua Yang, 60, of Great Neck is accused of exposing himself to a teen in a Russell Gardens park.

Police are asking anyone who may have been involved in a similar incident to come forward after a Great Neck man was arrested for exposing himself to a teenage boy in a Russell Gardens park.

Nassau cops said Hua Yang, 60, was near the entrance to Daniel J. Berg Memorial Park when he adjusted his waistband and showed his genitals to the 15-year-old boy, who was walking his dog through the park.

The incident happened around dusk — about 4:40 on Wednesday, police said.

The teen left the park and went straight home to tell his mother what had happened, police said. Sixth Squad detectives subsequently arrested Yang and charged him with public lewdness and endangering the welfare of a child.

Yang pleaded not guilty to the charges on Friday at Nassau County First District Court.

Detectives ask anyone who may have been a victim of a similar incident to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1.800.244.TIPS (8477). All calls are anonymous.
