Couple accused of boxing in, killing Selden man at Stony Brook Yacht Club

A Long Island couple accused in the killing of Christopher Millwater allegedly trapped him with their car before stabbing him multiple times in the parking lot of the Stony Brook Yacht Club, prosecutors allege.

The dramatic new detail was revealed Thursday during the arraignment of Kacy Corso in Suffolk First District Court in Central Islip.

Corso, a 33-year-old mother from Setauket, is charged with second-degree murder in the Nov. 10 slaying of the 52-year-old Selden man.

Prosecutors said she carried out the killing together with Victor Panebianco, 32, her boyfriend, who was arrested this week in North Carolina and has yet to be arraigned locally due to him needing to be first extradited to New York.

Court papers indicate that the confrontation unfolded between 3:36 and 3:40 a.m. in the Stony Brook Yacht Club’s parking lot, 21 Shore Road.

Prosecutors said Corso blocked Millwater’s vehicle with her own, preventing him from escaping, and then crashed into his car.

From there, investigators said, Corso and Panebianco stabbed Millwater multiple times with a sharp object, killing him.

Corso pleaded not guilty at her arraignment.

A Facebook feud months in the making

The deadly confrontation capped off months of increasingly public hostility between Millwater and Corso — bitterness that spilled onto Facebook long before violence erupted.

Corso posted repeatedly about Millwater over the summer, accusing him of harassment, vandalism, and “psycho” behavior, at one point urging others to “talk some sense into him before it’s too late.”

Panebianco jumped into the drama in July, posting a screenshot of a heated text exchange with Millwater. He wrote:

“Bro you’re a 52-year-old man harassing a woman who is 20 years younger than you… threats, insults, desecration of a memorial site, and completely unhinged behavior is wild. Grow up and leave her alone man.”

Detectives have not publicly commented on the social-media dispute or whether it played a role in the alleged ambush. Greater Long Island has asked Suffolk County Police about the posts but has not yet heard back specifically about the posts.

Millwater’s final days

Just two days before his death, Millwater himself posted an unsettling message on Facebook:
“Plenty of time to rest when I’m dead.”

His family has described him as a loyal and dependable man who “showed up for anyone in need.”

A GoFundMe campaign launched this week to cover funeral expenses raised more than $1,700 within hours.
