Long Island’s newest Dairy Queen Grill & Chill restaurant is days away from opening in Nesconset.
A spokesperson from the company told GreaterSmithtown the launch date at 594 Middle Country Road will be on Monday, Nov. 30.
The fast-food chain, known for its famous Blizzards, will now have six Long Island eateries with this location.
The Nesconset spot is run by Kanwal Azam, a local entrepreneur who is a multi-brand operator with 7/11 and Sunoco Gas Stations.
“I’ve always heard people praising Dairy Queen for their exceptional food quality and customer service,” said Azam. “I knew I wanted to open my own restaurant once I learned about the support provided from the team along with the importance, they place on community involvement.”
