Virtual tutors do not need to live in NYS, but all are required to hold NYS teaching credentials.
Salaries depend on certification, with tutoring pay ranging from $30 to $40 per hour.
L.I.T.S., based in Sayville, is also typically looking for teacher aides, speech and counseling, as well as test prep and academic tutors.
Counselors and speech and reading specialists are paid $50 to $70 per hour.
Teacher Aides pay ranges from $18 to $25 per hour.
