Dough & Co. Pizza stretching North Shore footprint to Oyster Bay

|

The dough is expanding.

Dough & Co. Pizza, the popular pizzeria on Main Street in Huntington, is getting ready to open up its second location in Oyster Bay.

“We’ve been thinking about another store for a while now, and we finally found the perfect location,” manager Gaetano Femminella told Greater Long Island. “It’s a great village setting, very similar to Huntington.”

Dough & Co. will move into the former home of Umberto’s on Main Street, which closed in January.

Owner Danny Rocca tells GLI he’s hoping to be open in Oyster Bay by March 1.

Rocca first opened Dough & Co. in 2022, and it quickly gained a loyal following for its artisanal pizzas, including its best seller, the burrata slice.

The restaurant has been honored on several “best of” lists, including being named one of the top three pizzerias in the Tri-State area by The Washington Post.

Femminella says there are no “nasty chemicals” inside and they use a blend of different Italian and American flours.

“Our dough is the number one thing people always ask us about,” says Femminella.  “We take a lot of pride in making it the way we do.  It’s a little more involved, but it’s worth it.”

“We don’t have to shout out what we do right. We don’t pay for influencers.  Just taste ours and you know,” he added.

Dough & Co. Oyster Bay will be open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, with a very similar menu to the Huntington spot.

Stay with Greater Long Island for more details about the grand opening in coming weeks.
