Drive-in movie nights planned for Bay Shore this spring

|

Long Island event producer Starfish Junction is bringing its popular Movie Lot Drive-In series to Bay Shore in April.

The experience is coming to Westfield South Shore Mall on April 9-10.

Since its launch last May, Movie Lot Drive-In has entertained nearly 25,000 cars.

“While movie theaters remain closed and restrictions on public gatherings are still enforced, we’re confident that people will continue to search for fun and safe things to do,” said Lauren Powers, senior director at Starfish Junction. “We’re working hard to create a great season with special events surrounding the movies being shown.”

The movies to be shown in Bay Shore include “The Croods: A New Age,” “Scream,” “Ghostbusters” and “Impractical Jokers: The Movie.”

Here are the times:

  • FRI  4/9: “The Croods: A New Age” at 7:45 p.m.
  • FRI  4/9: “Scream” at 10:15 p.m.
  • SAT 4/10: “Ghostbusters” at 7:45 p.m.
  • SAT 4/10: “Impractical Jokers: The Movie” at 10:30 p.m.

The films will be shown on a 52-foot screen, and there will be free popcorn for every car from weekend snack sponsor, Stew Leonard’s.

Information on the schedule, safety guidelines, showtimes and ticket availability, is available at www.MovieLotDriveIn.com.
