Dubco’s bringing German-style beers to Bay Shore for DubtoberFest

|

Destination Unknown Beer Company wants in on the Oktoberfest game.

On Saturday, Sept. 28, Dubco will be putting a spin on the popular German beer festival with its own Dubtoberfest.

The idea stemmed from Dubco’s owner Chris Candiano, who is a big fan of German brews.

“He was like let’s just go for it and challenge the community to make these German styles,” said his wife, Jenn.

The event, which has a VIP hour from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., will be general admission from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. During that time, patrons will be able to taste German-style beers from local breweries and the nearby meadery. Scroll down to see the participants.

There will also be live music and German-inspired food, including Knot of this World and Geenas Weenas.

All tickets will include a commemorative Dubco stein glass.

Ticket prices are $65 for VIP tickets and $55 for general admission. To purchase them, click here. Here’s the Facebook event page.
