During Babylon’s Easter Egg Hunt, they made candles at Pandemonium

|

Pandemonium Boutique has a great gift idea for grandparents this Easter: homemade candles.

To help that along, the Babylon Village women’s retailer hosted its first Make A Candle Craft Table event on Saturday at the shop.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., children had an opportunity to handcraft candles with the help of the Deer Park company Curiously Creative Candles

Pandemonium’s owner, Jacqueline DiDonato, said it was the first time the shop hosted a Curiously Creative Candles event in the store.

“They are usually set up on the sidewalk at the Fall Festival and the Spring Fling Art and Music Festival,” she said.

At the craft table, the kiddies made candles out of recycled candle wax and added colors and scents into pre-wicked candle glasses.

“This is a super successful sensory activity,” said DiDonato.

The event ran during Babylon Village’s Easter egg hunt.
