Renowned artist Alex Tric is back with an exciting new art exhibition titled “Summer In Winter.” This highly anticipated event will kick off on February 16th and run for two weeks at Industry Gallery in Huntington, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in a world of vibrant colors, evocative imagery, and thought-provoking narratives.

With the arrival of winter, many individuals experience a shift in mood as the enchantment of the first snowfall fades away. Alex Tric, known for his ability to elicit emotions through art, has personally encountered this phenomenon. At the Summer In Winter Art Show, he fearlessly explores the topic of seasonal depression, shedding light on his own experiences and inviting viewers to connect on a deeper level.

“I always get the winter blues around this time, and I find myself eagerly anticipating summer. When I learned about seasonal depression, it was reassuring to have a term for what I’m experiencing. Now that I know what it is, I can be more aware of it. This year, I decided to plan ahead by creating summer-themed artwork as a reminder that warmth is around the corner. Winter is not forever, whether we’re talking about the season or a negative emotion. They’re both temporary.” Through his artwork, Alex Tric aims to create a safe space for dialogue while encouraging visitors to embrace the beauty of every season, both in nature and within themselves.

This exhibition promises an artistic journey that beautifully contrasts the melancholy of seasonal depression with the warmth and vibrancy of summer. Visitors will be greeted by a collection of stunning pieces that depict their favorite summertime activities. From beachside and poolside chilling to indulging in delicious cocktails, and other elements such as summer flowers like lavender and iconic palm trees. Each artwork will transport viewers to a place where they can momentarily escape the winter blues.

Join us at Industry Gallery and Lounge in Huntington starting February 16th and running through February 28th, with an opening reception on February 18th at 7PM (Sunday of Presidents Day weekend) for an evening of wonder, inspiration, and thought-provoking conversations.
