Faces in the crowd at the 2025 Jones Beach Air Show

|

Cool spring air and the threat of passing showers didn’t deter the thousands who packed Jones Beach State Park on Sunday for the FourLeaf Air Show at Jones Beach.

The annual Memorial Day weekend spectacle has drawn massive crowds since its launch in 2006. Families and friends showed up early with beach chairs, umbrellas, and coolers in tow, prepped to spend the day picnicking, grilling, strolling the boardwalk—and looking skyward.

The 2025 edition officially took off at 10 a.m., treating spectators to a jaw-dropping lineup of aerial performances from both military and civilian crews. Highlights included precision maneuvers by the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, daring dives by skydivers, and vintage aircraft thrills from the Warbird Thunder Airshow team.

The Sunday crowds hit the beach and boardwalk space, spilling into grassy areas and even along the Ocean Parkway shoulder to catch the action overhead.
