|

The year’s third and most popular installment of Long Island Restaurant Week is almost upon us, and the list of participating spots from across Nassau and Suffolk is growing by the day, each offering several prix fixe deals for both lunch and dinner.

That includes many first-time participants in Fall Long Island Restaurant Week, such as Oak & Vine (pictured above) in Glen Cove, Avenue Social Kitchen & Cocktails in Bellmore and The James in Babylon, among others.

The eight days of foodie fun for fall starts Sunday, Oct. 27, and runs through Sunday, Nov. 3.

About Long Island Restaurant Week

“Long Island Restaurant Week is a win-win for both restaurateurs and diners — increased foot traffic at restaurants and affordable meals at some of Long Island’s top restaurants,” Castillo said. “My best advice for restaurant week?

“Make reservations to guarantee you get into your favorite restaurant!”

An estimated 116,000 meals are served during each promotion at over 140 Long Island locations, which is good for about $4 million in revenues from every Long Island Restaurant Week.

It started as a fall-only promotion in 2006 until the first spring Long Island Restaurant Week was launched in April 2011. Winter was added in January of 2016, due to popular customer and restaurateur demand. Visit the Long Island Restaurant Week website for any more information.
